Baylane was founded to follow my passion of working in the entrepreneurial SME market. I’m excited by the endless opportunities in the space but acutely aware of the challenges most face.
Born and raised in Sydney, I was interested in emerging technology (which at the time was building websites to share photos before Facebook), and later I studied spreadsheets at UTS. This lead me to my career as a Chartered Accountant both in practice and in senior leadership roles helping multinational corporates with their planning, forecasting and structuring. I have extensive experience in refinancing, M&A activity and working in high velocity environments alongside private equity backers.
After living in London for a few years and extensive travel throughout my adult life, I’m loving being back in Australia unsuccessfully fishing local waterways and drinking weird craft beers.
